A: 1. Please make sure you choose the correct NIC. That is not very easy to do sometimes, you may need to test all the possible items.
2. You can click "more..." button to help you selecting the correct one.
3. Make sure you enter the correct dest mac address, and make sure the new mac address is not active(online) on your local network. Some mac address is not valid, you can choose other mac address to test Amac.

Q: I installed the shareware version of amac 5.0. And noticed the appearance of an extra tab ‘Advanced’ under network config. After uninstalling amac the tab didn’t disappear but crashes the configuration dialog. After which the explorer.exe process is restarted.

A: The "advanced" tab is nothing to do with Amac. I mean: the amac can not cause it to appear or disappear. You trouble may occur because of other reasons such as virus or error computer disk visiting. In my opinion, reinstall the driver of network card may help.

If your system has more than one network card, you will need to select the one which you really use it to access the game server.

Q: Hello.Your software is good for the scanning of the IP and getting the mac id. But I had a problem.
When I change my mac id to another mac id ie, one of the scanned IP. For example if my IP is 189.100.34.1. I scanned a range of IP with the above program and got an IP 189.100.34.50 and I changed the Mac id of this IP to mine.

After restarting I see that the The mac address for the 189.100.34.50 is in my network card but the
main problem is that the IP address has another range of some what 139.234.43.54 and it is not 189.100.34.50.

A: I guess you are using DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) to allocate an ip address configuration for your computer. When you change you card to a new mac id, I suggested that you make sure that the new mac id is not online(active). Since many network will encounter errors when two same mac id appears! By scanning first time and secondly, you can easily select one mac id that is online the first time and shutdown secondly.

:Many wireless networks manages by MAC address, that is, they recognize the user by MAC.
In you case, I suppose they manage by MAC too.
If you can use Internet before but now they need passwords, the main reason is possibly that your MAC is not permitted. Try change the MAC to another one. You can scan it with AMAC.
Some times the ISP binds MAC/IP. You must change IP/MAC to what you scanned.
